Estuvimos 2 semanas recorriendo el país con el Suzuki Jimny y nos pareció una opción estupenda para conocerlo. Nos dio la libertad de desplazamiento que necesita el país para llegar a cada rincón. Dormimos en prados a los pies de los volcanes, en laderas de valles verdes y en las playas más salvajes acurrucados por el sonido de las olas. El 4x4 no nos dio ni un solo problema y la atención de Cedric fue impecable. Además sus indicaciones nos sirvieron para mejorar nuestra ruta y evitar zonas con mal tiempo.

Super expérience. Nous avons loué un Campervan pour partir à la découverte du Costa Rica sur 12 jours avec nos 2 enfants. Le véhicule est super fonctionnel et quel bonheur de se réveiller au bord du Pacifique ou au pied de l'Arenal. Suite à un petit soucis de véhicule en fin de séjour, Cédric a tout mis en œuvre pour nous permettre de finir nos vacances dans les meilleures conditions. Merci pour le professionnalisme.

Very responsive and van in good condition. Helpful with maps and websites to locate spots to rest and be thankful. Speak French, Spanish and good English. Be careful with roads in the rainy season and other drivers cutting corners. At night, in rainy season, can be very hot and humid near the sea, so cool down with air conditioning and / or water on the wrists! Freezer in the fridge requires small items, so suggest eat for one or two days at a time

Frequently Asked Questions

For any reservation with Costa Rider Campervan, you will have to provide your passport, driver’s license from your country (you do not need an international license), and a bank card.
You can park your van anywhere in Costa Rica. Many free parking areas are available by the sea or near the volcanoes. You can also find a parking space in campgrounds everywhere for a small fee. To make your trip even more enjoyable, Costa Rider Campervan invites you to download the ioverlander.com application listing all the campsites and bivouacs in the country.
Reservations can be made directly on the website or by contacting us. A deposit of 20% of the total amount is required when booking a van. The remaining amount (80%) is to be paid once on-site when picking up the rental car. It can be paid by credit card or cash (US$ or colones). Due to the high demand, we suggest you book as soon as possible.
Costa Rica has a very low crime rate. However, for added security, Costa Rider’s converted vans are equipped with closed storage, tinted windows, and a safe for personal documents. Our vehicle models are very common in Costa Rica, so you’ll blend in. In addition, your luggage and valuables can be stored at our office.
